Profile & Experience

Dr. Vivek Mittal has performed a large number of surgeries and his areas of excellence are Joint replacement surgery like total knee replacement (TKR), total hip replacement (THR) and shoulder replacement. He performs both Primary as well as Revision joint replacement surgery for Hip & Knee joint. He also performs osteotomy around the knee for early arthritis or deformity of bone besides Trauma Management based on AO principles especially around the hip, knee and shoulder joint.

He did his MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University. He then went on to became the registrat at St. Stephen’s Hospital. His career as a Consultant began at jeewan Mala Hospital, followed bt the Delhi Institute of tram=uma and Orthopaedics and then Sant Parmanand Hosipatal.

He is now visiting consultant at some of Delhi’s leading hospitals and also teaches Orthopaedic trainees.

Dr.Mittal has also delivered lectures and has performed live joint Replacement Surgeries at various conferences, institute and hospitals both nationaly and internationaly.

Membership

He is a member of many prestigious organisations like the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Delhi Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthroplasty Association, Indian Medical Association, Association of Spine Surgeons of India and the Indian Arthroscopic Society. He is a fellow of the AO-ASIF in Austria and also has the ranawat Fellowship (USA).
